Flat Milly goes to Africa with Pat


Here are several animal friends spied in the bush of a protected national park that you can drive through in South Africa


I just know that FM was somewhere there among the bushes! (open the picture to see FM)


Knowing Flat Milly is a quilter I then took her shopping for fabric in Pretoria, Africa, and and you can imagine her excitement, These two pictures are of the shop where I bought all kinds of wild and crazy quilt material! Extremely inexpensive! The shop is run by Muslim Indian South Africans. The owner gave me permission to photograph the outside of his shop!

At 40 cents per yard we may never see Flat Milly again!!!!

Here is a picture I had taken with our new (well, it is new to us even though it is used) long arm quilting machine. We got it in November and it is fun. Need to do more practice – but that is what they say is practice, practice, practice!

Hey Flat Milly, We took you along to see a Broadway show. First we stopped by the statue of Jackie Gleason a.k.a Ralph Kramden outside the Port Authority Bus Terminal


Next we headed over to 42nd Street to the American Airlines Theatre to see The Pajama Game with Harry Connick, Jr. You had a great seat!


You seemed to know all the lyrics! We couldn't keep you still during Hernando's Hideaway & you were crazy about Harry!


Then you went along to Virginia to visit your new grandnephew, Adrian. He seemed to think you were pretty funny!




While in Virginia you got to visit the Manassas Battle Field National Park. Here you are with Kristin & Stonewall Jackson

Busy, busy

Do Nuts Float?

Flat Milly goes along for a cruise with Priscilla, and a boatload of nuts. Now we are talkin.

Off we go, Priscilla is hiding FM so she goes for free. :-)

Meg isn't really evil, she is just...err, ah, blonde? Thankfully one of the nuts fed FM a cheese puff


Finally everyone goes out for a super dinner, and FM is in high style
