Here are two of my favorite photos from Japan. One is the Golden Temple in Kyoto, Japan, and the other is a picture of my husband Steve and his daughter Brooke (my step-daughter) posing on "Philosopher's Walk" in Kyoto.

This is a very famous, ancient rock garden in Kyoto, and a traditional tea shop, also in Kyoto.

This is another very famous temple, and the second picture is a garden in a village on the tiny Japanese island off the coast of South Korea where my step-daughter taught English for a year to junior high and high school kids!

This is the view out of our hotel window looking at the mountains and the port where the ferry comes in to bring you to the main island of Japan.
